Steve McMillen started surveying in Melbourne, Florida while still in High School in October of 1986.  No internet.  No computers.  All hand drafted survey maps and calculations performed on a scientific calculator.  Steve moved to Gainesville, Florida in 1993 and worked for Wayne Chance.  After obtaining Surveying License No. 5469, in 1996, him and his father, John McMillen started McMillen Surveying in Williston, Florida.  Since those days, the firm has grown to 16 employees and still rooted in the small town of Williston.
